Planning Process

The planning application for the Brewster Wind Farm has been lodged with the Minister for Planning and is now under consideration. The application will be assessed against the provisions of the Pyrenees Planning Scheme and the Policy and Planning Guidelines for the Development of Wind Energy Facilities in Victoria, which set standards and limits covering the following:

  • Sound compliance.
  • Landscape Impact.
  • Impact to Flora and Fauna.
  • Shadow flicker.
  • Impact to Cultural Heritage.
  • Electromagnetic Interference.

Planning Application Documentation

As part of the planning process you have the opportunity to lodge a submission to the Minister for Planning outlining your view on the proposal.
